"If you miss Dongmen Traditional Street, you have never been to Shenzhen." Dongmen Pedestrian Street is one of the most representative business districts of Shenzhen and has become a regional symbol.

東門不僅有繁榮的商業(yè)，還有深厚的文化底蘊。為了讓外國朋友們能更好地了解東門，在東門生活得更加便利，能更好地融入社區(qū)生活，東門街道的黨群服務中心特別開辟了英語角。

In Dongmen Street, there is not only prosperous business, but also a profound cultural heritage. In order to let our international friends know Dongmen better and live in Dongmen more conveniently, as well as better integrate into the community life, CPC Community Service Center of Dongmen Street has established a English corner.

在解放路和人民路的交匯處，身后是一桿立于天地之間的秤和秤砣。你知道這是用來做什么的嗎？這是中國用來衡量重量的工具，有近千年的歷史，現(xiàn)在在一些地區(qū)的菜市場中仍然很常見。這里的秤桿和秤砣有著特殊的意義，商家在市場交易中只有公平誠信才能生意興隆。

Now we are standing at the intersection of Jiefang Road and Renmin Road. What behind us is a huge scale and a weight. Do you know what they stand for?

 This is a tool used to measure weight in China. It has a history of nearly a thousand years, and it is still very common in the wet markets in some regions. The scale beam and weight here have their special meaning. Only fair and honest business can prosper in market transactions.

1990年，中國內(nèi)地第一家麥當勞落地深圳東門，開業(yè)當天，該餐廳以46萬元創(chuàng)下當時麥當勞單天營業(yè)額的全球紀錄。

In1990, the first McDonald's in mainland China landed in Dongmen, Shenzhen. On the opening day, the restaurant set a global record of 460,000-yuan turnover in single-day.

在東門，有一家店叫“東升源”，寓意財源生生不息，是一家有著100多年歷史的老店，店里的婚慶用品很受年輕人歡迎。這里的新娘唐裝禮服、頭飾、紅布鞋、紅馬夾等，全是人工刺繡、釘珠和鑲嵌膠片，金光閃閃，古香古色。很多年輕人喜歡穿這樣古風的服裝來拍婚紗照。

This shop is called"Dong Sheng Yuan", which means endless wealth. It is an old shop with a history of more than100 years. The wedding products in the shop are very popular among young people.

You can see these Tang-Dynasty-style bride dress, headdress, red cloth shoes, red jacket and so on. These embroidery and decoration with glittering and antique color are all hand-made. 

Many young people like to take their wedding photos in such ancient clothes. It’s very special.

逛完東門、打卡完英語角，現(xiàn)在是不是感覺有點餓了？東門也是“吃貨”的天堂。

After visiting Dongmen Street and checking the English corner, are you feeling a little hungry now?Dongmen is also a paradise for foodies. 

東門沿街商鋪的叫賣聲、戲院里的戲曲、街邊美食檔飄出的香味、打卡拍照的游客、排隊購物的消費者……來到東門可以感受到深圳的煙火氣息、市井氛圍。

傳統(tǒng)與時尚并存，改造后的東門國際化街區(qū)正持續(xù)煥發(fā)生機。

The vendor’s hawking along the Dongmen street, the opera in the theater, the fragrance wafted from the food stalls on the street, the sound of camara of tourists who are taking pictures, the consumers queuing for shopping... These scenes and sounds compose Dongmen Street, where you can see the all kinds of lives and passionate atmosphere of Shenzhen.

Traditions coexist with fashion in the transformed Dongmen International Block. It is continuously glowing with vitality.
